The Library is currently ran by the Friends of Bagillt Library, a group of volunteers that staff the library and take bookings for it's other uses.
The Library previously was ran by Flintshire County Council but closed due to cut-backs. Originally a group formed, the Save Bagillt Library Group, which lobbied the council to allow it to take over services. This group succeeded in saving the library from closure and over time changed to the current management group.
The Library usually opens two days a week as a Library, dependant upon staff availability.
